VERY Old Software

The software seems very nice and once it is working, it is not too bad. BUT beware: This is very old software. To get it to work on my windows 7 64 bit machine, I had to do the following: (after extensive Googling and experimentation!) 1) Uninstall the latest Quicktime and install the version on the disk (6 years old!)That was fun on it's own as you have to also delete the Quicktime files in the C:\Windows\SysWOW64 directory or the older version would not install. 2) Run the program in compatibility mode for Windows NT 4.0 (SP5)! 3) Disable visual themes Also tried to run it on my XP SP3 machine and had similar problems as well as having to disable sound acceleration (or something like that) It took days to get the software to run smoothly. If you are not familiar with fiddling in the bowels of your PC, don't get any of the Disney Learning series except for the newer ones like Nemo which work fine after changing to 640 x 480 resolution. You could try my settings, but each PC is different! Mine works fine now, but it took some serious perseverance to make it work!
