Spectacular, spectacular! That is the name of the play which unfolds in this extraordinary love story. The apt title of the play sums up the musical 'Moulin Rouge'. Director Baz Luhrman teams up with Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman, unfailingly handsome Ewan McGregor and screen veteran Jim Broadbent. The entire ensemble brings life to a magical world home to the Moulin Rouge, a raucous venue celebrating all things extravagant and debaucherous. The appreciation of modern music intertwined with visions from old Paris makes this a feast for the eyes and a feast for the heart. The ingredients in 'Moulin Rouge' are the stuff love should be made of. Fireworks, love songs and Paris. It was epic. Come what may.

This musical is witty, weird and fun. The clever combinations of music with everything from Sound of music and big band orchestras to Madona and Elton John is absulute genius.Nicole and Ewan's performances are spot on and those voices! The scenes and the story move you from feeling mischief to sadness. This is an allrounder you can watch and listen to over and over. Baz knows his stuff.

The movie is FANTASTIC, however the version that kalahari is selling only comes with one disc. This in a box with a cover that boasts 2 discs...the second one having awesome material but not being present.
