As a fan of Christine Feehan's Dark Series, I grabbed this book. If you love your romance with a little paranormal twist and a little intregue than this book is for you. Dr Lily Whitney is asked to consult on her father Peter Whitney's experiment to enhance psychic ability when the experiment becomes too successful, she meets Captain Ryland Miller in his isolation cell, where he and his men are being kept supposedly because of the pain that they are experiancing from the bombardment of information from their new psychic abilities. Ryland isn't too trusting, some of his men have died in 'accidents', and he feels like a lab rat. But he soon discovers Lily's secret, and enlists her to help him find out who is killing his men.
Lilly Whitney has always had Pschic ability, so its no surprise when her Father enlists her aid to help the Soldiers who volinteered for the psychic enhancement programme. Captain Ryland Miller i very persuasive when it comes to the safety of his men, and Lily agree's to help him. Especially when the sabatour hits very close to home.
