This wonderful user-friendly book is a comprehensive look at the ideas of 18th century educator, Charlotte Mason, who believed that providing our children with “living” books and stimulating a love of knowledge was the key to a good education and lifelong learning.

As parents we need to learn that a good education can be accomplished using better methods than those we experienced at school and Charlotte Mason presented many alternatives!

Karen Andreola, the author is an authority on Mason's philosophies, with years of practical homeschooling experience, advice and encouragement to offer. Even teachers is the school system will learn a lot from this book, but for homeschoolers it is a MUST-read!
