The great New Zealand diva Kiri Te Kanawa stars in the title role of Strauss's landmark comic opera ARABELLA. Filmed at the ornate Metropolitan Opera in 1995, Kanawa and her stellar co-stars Donald McIntyre, Helga Dernesch, Marie McLaughlin, and Charles Workman, are perfectly conducted by the talented Christan Thielmann. Seasoned opera video director Brian Large is behind the camera.
