The Bluebird foundations series has been developed by an experienced pre-school and foundation phase educator. The two titles make up the Afrikaans series offer a comprehensive literacy, numeracy and life-skills programme for the Grade R (formerly Grade 0) child and can be used in the classroom with the assistance of teachers or at home with help from parents. The educator's guide supplements my activity book by providing a suggested set of activities in addition to those provided in the activity book for each day of the week, ensuring that all aspects of the curriculum are covered. Every theme is accompanied by educator's tips to the parent.
