Decision Making and the Will of God

Long description

Does God have a perfect will for each Christian? Can you be absolutely sure you've found God's individual will for your life? Garry Friesen examines the traditional view of God's will, then sets forth a different view that more accurately reflects biblical teaching. This new edition of Decision Making takes up the practical issues of choosing a mate, picking a career, giving of one's resources, and areas of disagreement between Christians to give readers a new approach to knowing the will of God. Mr. Friesen also addresses many of the arguments that have surfaced since the original printing of this book over twenty-four years ago.

Clarifying the confusion of God's will
Reviewed by Mr Herman Goosen from Pretoria, South Africa on 04 May 2007
9 of 22 people found the following review helpful:

I have read many books on this topic. I have also made enormous mistakes due to incorrect understanding of God's will and decision making. I can truly state that this book had the last say on the topic for me. It is well founded scripturally, logical, well reasoned and altogether liberating. If you experience problems in interpreting God's will, this is your must read. Just a word of warning: you read this book (almost) in one sitting, else you will become disoriented, as the author uses role play and scenario sketching. If you leave the book for too long and then get back to it, you loose the train of thought. If you are still wondering whether you should read it, just get it. After having read the book, I asked God why he let me make so many mistakes before giving me the answers. The Spirit then reminded me to look at the price tag, and I realised that it had been standing on my shelf unread for a considerable time. As always, He was faithful, Don't make the same mistake.
