Dynamic Science and Technology is an exciting new series for the Intermediate phase. Knowledge, skills values and attitudes are dealt with in a creative and activity-based way. This combination course meets all the requirements of the Revised National Curriculum Statement for both the Natural Sciences and Technology learning areas.
Features of Dynamic Science and Technology include:
- activities that are designed for learners with different levels of ability
- opportunities for learners to work on activities individually, in pairs or in groups
- a 'Heroes' feature in each module that profiles role models
- a science investigation or technology task that can be used as an extension activity in each module
- activities that allow for integration with other learning areas
- a variety of manageable assessment opportunities for the educator.
