The living language course is developed and written for English lesssons with multilingua learners (English first and additional language children) at school where English is the language of learning and teaching. The English 5 workbook will reinforce, extend and further explain the language content in the living language learner's resource book, but it can also be used independently for English language practice. The workbook is the learner's to keep as part of a year's portfolio, and it will provide a record of achievement in many of the language's assessment standards.
