The In Focus series are useful 'trigger texts' i.e. they give enough information so that you want to read further or continue your learning on the internet. The colours have been used nicely, with realistic print colours of patients, instruments and slides. The set out of the books are ideal with good, quick refernce contents, making the series ideal for students in Clinics and/or ward rounds.

The short pictorial textbook on neurology, is intended to help medical students and junior doctors understand and manage patients with neurological problems. All chapters are concise and very educative, based on practical experience, with many highly informative colour pictures, documenting typical clinical findings, neuroimaging, essential laboratory data, tables as well as neuropathological findings. This unique approach allows review of a wide selection of cases not only seen in the every-day practice but also of rather rare ones. A highly informative and challenging book for young neurologists.
