New Moon

Short description

The dramatic sequel to "Twilight", following the tale of a teenage girl whose love for a sexy sensitive vampire boy gets her into trouble.

Long description

"I stuck my finger under the edge of the paper and jerked it under the tape. "Shoot," I muttered when the paper sliced my finger. A single drop of blood oozed from the tiny cut. It all happened very quickly then. "No!" Edward roared ... Dazed and disorientated, I looked up from the bright red blood pulsing out of my arm - and into the fevered eyes of the six suddenly ravenous vampires." For Bella Swan, there is one thing more important than life itself: Edward Cullen. But being in love with a vampire is more dangerous than Bella could ever have imagined. Edward has already rescued Bella from the clutches of an evil vampire but now, as their daring relationship threatens all that is near and dear to them, they realise their troubles may just be beginning ...

'The sexiest vampire tale for years arrived in Stephenie Meyer's TWILIGHT, about teenage Bella's chaste romance with a beautiful vampire boy. Their intensely erotic feelings are endangered by more predatory types. Guaranteed to suck in sulky 13+ girls for

This is Meyers 2nd novel in the Twilight saga. Bella has just turned 18. Something awful happens at her birthday party and Edward is horrified.Bella knows that he is angry with himself. When Edward informs Bella that he is leaving Forks with his family,Bella is crushed...she does not know how to take the news and she feels heartbroken. As the days go by,Bella is reclusive and quiet. She begins to have nightmares. She misses Edward and his family so terribly. In this book,Bellas friendship with Jacob Black develops and the two get very close. Then Jacob starts avoiding her and Bella is all alone, once again. Bella knows that Jacob is hiding something dark... This is a great follow up to Twilight.Must read.

  Stephenie broke my heart

My heart broke for Bella in this novel. I felt her loss and pain and was devastated that Edward did not feature for most of the book. However, the ending made up for all the heartache. I did feel the book dragged a bit in some parts when I read it for the first time. Its adviseable to read it twice to fully appreciate it.

Fascinating, Breathtaking but in one word...BRILLIANT. The werewolves are a thrilling addition to the saga and the friendship to Jacob is worth everyone's note. Simply the best book in the saga.
