New Day-by-Day is an innovative series, available in all eight learnng areas in the Intermediate Phase. This resource-rich series has been especially developed to meet the requirements of the Revised National Curriculum Statement, and guarantees improved learning results. New Day-by-Day Technology is both learner- and teacher-friendly. The course components include a Learner's Book that is easy to use and a Teacher's Guide that provides complete curriculum coverage. For ease of access and use, every lesson in the Learner's Book has a corresponding section in the Teacher's Guide, and a convenient year plan that places each lesson in a deliverable context. The New Day-by-Day Technology Teacher's Guide offers support on implementing the Revised National Curriculum Statement and guides teachers in classroom organisation, the use of resources, assessment and suggested methodologies. Activities and contents in New Day-by-Day Technology are introduced progressively, so learners can achieve the level required by each assessment standard in each Grade. Assessment itself is streamlined, with portfolios and rubrics clearly illustrated to make the teacher's life easy and manageable.
