Sai Baba of Shirdi was such a Master, who was known as a miracle-worker and healer, exercising his powers in strange and unique ways. Interest in this mystic saint has grown in recent years, and this translation of Swami Sai Sharan Anand's classic work is timely. A young aspiring lawyer called Waman Patel, who would later be known as Swami Sai Sharan Anand, stayed for nearly a year in Shirdi in 1911, in close proximity to Shri Sai Baba. Here he has written his own reminiscences of the wonder of Sai Baba and collected, collated and commented on the extraordinary experiences of other devotees.
