- Can create your own stages to perform on – loads of different themes.
- Your sim can perform at a Sims festival which is an open mic show like a talent show.
- The world is set in Hollywood Boulevard and have a lot of different themed venues. There is also a Simlish sign of HOLLYWOOD
- A range of new objectives are available such as pool table, mechanical bull, DJ booth, juke boxes
- A new way to communicate in game friends list – use messenger, leave posts on their wall etc.
- Another new feature – Sims Port. Transport your sim over to your friends world and can share their memories through messenger and twitter. Sims Port will not be linked to Origin but you can use thesims3.com site. With yours and your friends Sim you can both win awards to unlock the new features. Once your sim is at your friends – you do not have any control over it and the max it is over there is 24 minutes (24 sims hours). You can send your Sim to 4 different friends at a time but can put as many requests out. Once your Sim comes back you get a stamp in your Sims passport and you filled all of these up you will be able to unlock content.
- Achievement system – continue to play your game but additional awards will be sent to you via badges on your wall and can be shared with friends. These badges are like bragging rights but also unlockable objectives as well.

Singer – you can start with busking on the streets or being a singer-gram and work your way all up to a huge superstar. There are 10 real songs (these have not yet been confirmed) that will be available to the singer and you can choose to sing verse, chorus, verse, chorus and can make it as catch as you like. You can also bring a guitar on to the stage.

Acrobat – again you can start from scratch of learning how to do perform your moves however the more you practise the better you will become and you can star in your own performance like a cirque de soli. You can also perform with loads of prop’s.

Magician – just like all the careers the more you practise the better you become and for a magician you can pull doves out of a hat, pull coins out behind an ear. The better you get the more your tricks become more adventurous and the audience can actually start putting in their own requests such as putting the swords in a box with somebody in there. You can then end up with becoming the next David Blaine!

DJ – this is only at the beginning as moonlighting skill as at the beginning as you learn you need to grow creditability – however if your Sim succeeds this could be your full time job and perform yet again to thousands of Sims.

With all of the Sims, they have a performance meter about their heads which will inform the player if the audience likes them or not and how well they are performing. You will also be able to gage how well they are doing as the audience can also throw stuff on stage if they do not like you – but your Sim can also insult the audience if they wish!
