The BXRi Compact flash is a 500/500 W/S unit, so placing the light 1m away from your subject, shooting at 100 ISO with a 48 degree reflector, you’ll be able to shoot at about f90 – adequate for professional and home portraiture studios.

The New BXRi Compact flash units feature many new programmable features and a Skyport remote system, for freedom to express his or her individuality.

All BXRi flash units offer wireless trigger and remote control options with the integrated EL-Skyport Receiver and Transmitter system. The EL-Skyport is a wireless studio flash synchronisation system that does away with the need for flash to camera synchronisation cables that are limited in length, can inhibit freedom of movement during a shoot and can become tangled with other cables or even pull out of flash sockets during use.

The Universal Trigger Kit is able to synchronise both Elinchrom and other manufacturer flashes within an operating range of 50m indoors and 120m outdoors. Each Set contains two BXRi Multivoltage flash units one EL-Skyport Transmitter and two Portalite 66x66 cm softboxes. The EL- standard bayonet with security breech lock accepts all Elinchrom accessories and reflectors.

Elinchrom EL Portalite 66X66cm

Portalite is an entry-level softbox system with great light performance, fitting into all Elinchrom flash units. The new Portalite diffusers are made from high quality materials, but are still affordable.

The EL Speed-Ring and rods are re-designed to result in a softbox with better stability that is easier to assemble. This is suitable for 3/4 length portraits of 1 - 2 adults or small still life applications.
