With dimensions of 111 ×78.9 ×75.7 mm, it’s very compact for its feature set and but still feel secure in your hand with a well pronounced bulge on the shutter button side. The 2.7 Inch LCD displays in 230K pixel resolution can be wused to compose each image frame, in addition to the electronic viewfinder. This model can also display up to 100 images in a 10x10 array, utilising the Micro Thumbnail View. Four buttons for key functions , like playback, are dispers around a four-way D-pad used for navigation

Image quality and Lens
The 10 megapixel CCD on this camera can produce 8x12 inch prints at full resolution with greater enlargement possible to achieve high quality poster size prints. The 15 times optical zoom is a 35mm film equivalent to 33mm-396mm, which will give you a perspective from extra wide angle to powerful telephoto, sufficient for medium-size groups of people, good portraits and sports. Its 1600 ISO (light sensitivity), expandable to 6400 ISO at 5 megapixel resolution allows this camera to perform very well in low light situations and helps maintain a fast shutter speed for sharp pictures. There is also a 5.7 times digital zoom and a Macro mode allows close-up photography, capturing detail from as close as 1cm away

Key Features
Face Detection detects up to 10 faces nearly instantaneously, automatically setting focus and exposure for best results. The image stabilisation technology reduces blur caused by hand-shake or subject movement automatically chooses the correct light sensitivity and optimal shutter speed to produce clear, blur-free images, even when shooting at maximum zoom range.Automatic red-eye removal works both during shooting or can be selected afterwards to bring back natural looking eyes when red-eye does occur. Intelligent Flash analyses the scene to determine best exposure, but should you not be able to decide whether to use artificial flash light or not, you can select the Natural Light and Flash mode to help you decide. The S2000FD has a movie recording mode, and shooting scenes such as portrait, fireworks and flower take the guess work out of shooting with shot modes such as manual, shutter priority, aperture priority and natural light & with flash.
