I received my Gobii action cam at the end of March, and I must say I'm quite impressed. Before buying it, I asked my son, who runs his own filming business in Jeffreysbay, about the specs and he told me it's on par with the Go Pro. After receiving it we used it and the images were great, keeping in mind it's an action cam with fixed settings. What's even more impressive is that it comes with all attachments included, which must be purchased seperately with the GP. Something that impressed my son was that the Gobii has a tripod attachment as well, the GP not. Although it's stated that the Gobii can be used under water, it has'nt got a water proof casing like the GP. But I don't intend using it underwater. The Gobii is definately great value for money, and I'm really happy with it. I would recommend it for anybody looking for an action cam.

I just received my gobii. Out of the box you can definitely notice that this is not a top end camera, but you are not paying a top end price either.
It does what it says it will do. The suction cup and attachment accessories will cater for about every scenario. The accessories quality is not the best, but will do the job.
