A good read. However too many similar elements used made popular by Fifty Shades.....I agree the story setting the scene is somewhat more complete but could not help feeling let down in not knowing all that needed to be bared between Gideon and Eva. Yes the spills in Eva's sad childhood was traumatic, but what really happened to Gideon as child in the library room? Hopefully the second book (Refelected in you) will bring more clarity to this. Or should it be seen as another similarity to the Fifity Shades series where Christian's sexual secrets were revealed in detail......Still hoping for something that will be unique to come

I enjoyed the book, but is rather disappointed that the book is written almost parallel to Shades of Grey. The characters are so similar, as well as the storyline.

Better than 50 Shades, similar story f'd up gorgeous & fabulously rich guy meets hot girl who he falls for hard & he's prepared to change the rules he set with all previous relationships which were purely for sex. The girl comes from a traumatic background, raped by a step brother from the age of 10 to 14. His dark past not yet revealed but possibly also sexually abused. Can't wait for the second book! Like 50, loads of hot & steamy sex without the dom although both like to take control.

this book was a brilliant read, has your attention from page one, a little too similar to 50 shades of grey but good story nonetheless.

I have this book to be all about sex and sexual attraction and not at all what I expected.
I would prefer to gave more story and less hot flushes
