  READ THE FIRST REACHER

Lee Child has built the character of Jack Reacher since 1997 with the 'Killing Floor.' This novel flows from counterfeiting and murder to love and corruption. It is fast moving and difficult to put down. Young Jack Reacher was an 'army brat' along with his brother Joe. Father was a US Marine. Jack, a Westpoint graduate, left the Service from US Military Police with the rank of Major. The winner of, amongst others, Silver Star, Legion of Merit and Purple Heart. Jack is a big man with a wandering spirit which now moves him around the USA, where he is inevitably drawn into solving crimes.He thinks laterally and sees the big picture, missing nothing.He always moves along, broken hearts left behind. Childs' successive books are thrilling to say the least.Read them all! Tom Cruse plays the character of Jack Reacher. I would have chosen someone taller and less slick!
