My Brother’s Keeper tells the story of two brothers: Good Brother Nick Kenyon and his older Bad Brother, Paul. Paul has inherited the ‘bad genes’ from his Dad; father and son are both thoroughly amoral and jailbirds. Nick was an army medic, then a medic for a mercenary army, now a paramedic. As he says himself, he only knows two things, how to kill and how to save lives. Paul just likes cars, gambling and women. Bad Brother Paul breaks up with his girlfriend Tayla, who in distress smashes her car, only to be saved by Nick, who in short order marries her. Tayla doesn’t cease consorting with Paul, however, and together they plan the ultimate heist, which ends with Paul in a car crash and Nick at the scene
