A wonderful roistering story which leads the reader from one hair-raising adventure to the next. The characters are extravagantly larger than life yet believable while the plot contains all the elements of a true pirate yarn. Crichton's intimate knowledge of the Caribbean and sea craft make this an excellent read at any level.
