I did not know much about Byleveld, and found this book very intriguing. Nice to know that the police force has members like this.

I found the style of writing a bit hard; for me the reading didn't flow. It was interesting, as you hear the insider story, but I sometimes found it a bit long winded. The personal element of Byleveld's life was a nice touch.
