Some time after the Mousekewitz's have settled in America, they find that they are still having problems with the threat of cats. That makes them eager to try another home out in the west, where they are promised that mice and cats live in peace. Unfortunately, the one making this claim is an oily con artist named Cat R. Waul who is intent on his own sinister plan. Unaware of this, the Mousekewitz's begin their journey west, while their true cat friend, Tiger, follows intent on following his girlfriend gone in the same direction.
From Steven Spielberg, this delightful animated feature continues the adventures of Fievel, the brave young mouse who captures audiences in An American Tail. Now living in a mouse tenement, the Mousekewitz family has learned the streets of America are not all paved with cheese. Young Tanya wants to be a singer. Fievel dreams of becoming a tough lawdog like his hero Wylie Burp. Lured out west by the crafty Cat R. Waul, Fievel discovers the evil gent's plans to turn the settlers into mouse-burgers. With the aid of his cat friend Tiger, the two team up with Wylie Burp to stop the sinister plot. Thrills and laughs enrich this heartwarming family film featuring the voices of James Stewart, Dom De Luise, Amy Irving and an engaging original score including Dreams to Dream sung by Linda Ronstadt.
