I could not ask for a better present to buy for my boyfriend, he always wanted it, and I watched it from the beginning with him till late night and I could not stop watching it until the end. Everyday I was excited to go home and watch one more, but I finished it last night, and are looking for something else on kalahari so interesting as Band Of Brothers.

Spielberg and Hanks exceeded their achievement in Saving Private Ryan with this biographical portrait of Easy Company, complete with brief interviews with the survivors of the group. The realism is frightening and each episode focuses on the different perceptions and experiences of troops within the company - from leadership to the medic's perspective, to the insurmountable fear of those not cut out for war (who is?). An all-time achievement, this series is said to be the most expensive in history, yet this box set costs almost a third of what it is priced at retail stores. If you have an interest in the American involvement in Normandy on and after D-Day, this is a must. If not for superb directing, masterful photography and editing, or wonderful acting, just get it for a brilliant musical score!
