Black ButterfliesReviewed by Joel on 10 March 2012
The film has a lot of character - characters that are compelling and endearing. The writing and directing is flawed in some respects which unfortunately leaves this biopic short of a definitive status in the Ingrid Jonker saga. It is pleasing however to see how the ideals of one woman, as fallible and eccentric as she was, managed to shape the way our little country was seen during darker times through the use of the creative word.
