i imported this set from the UK when it was released in December 2007 and it has proved to be one of the wisest purchases i have ever made. the elegant steel box contains five crammed discs, including every version of Blade Runner and many hours of extras and rare deleted scenes. the best part of the set is the inclusion of the rare "workprint" version, which was only screened twice and has only been available as a very bad bootleg. Blade Runner is a masterpiece of visual cinema, and this set is a masterpiece of how to present fans with exactly what they want.

I based my purchase on the customer review (5 stars) on the movies themselves (the DVDs) BUT also the fact that they mentioned an elegant steel case. It should be noted that is MISLEADING. For the price I paid it should have had an elegant steel case. It comes in a CARDBOARD BOX that gets squashed. Kalahari.com, don't include misleading statements with the products. The least you could do is give the correct information in the product details and in this case it simply said Region 2! Note though that the DVDs are placed in clear plastic frames so they should be fine. As for the DVDs themselves they are from Germany and all the writing is German on them, but they can be seen in English so don't fret that isn't a problem. As for the actual DVDs, I enjoyed the movie the first time, I'm sure I will enjoy all the DVDs this time round. Just disappointed with the misleading information online.
