Long description

When William Wallace's (Mel Gibson) wife is murdered by English troops, he swears revenge on the English garrison involved in his wife's death. As news of Wallace's exploits spread, so more and more commoners become inspired to take up arms and help free their country. In 1997, a 12-ton sandstone statue depicting Mel Gibson as William Wallace in Braveheart was placed in the car park of the Wallace Monument near Stirling, Scotland. Need i say more an outstanding movie
