This feature-length entry in the Ghost in the Shell universe centres on Section 9 two years after Motoko Kusanagi left the group. Though the team feels her absence, they continue their mission, leading them to the Puppet Master. This talented hacker is a mysterious figure, and he may reveal himself to the source of more than Section 9 would have imagined.
