I love Westerns and will attempt an animated film should I feel like it. So I finally sat down to watch Rango and Johnny Depp's personality shone through. It is not fast paced, so do not expect a lot of show, but it is funny and enjoyable for both young and old. Good, clean movie. Lots of fun.

As an adult, watching animated features isn't that high up on my priority list. However, I decided to give Rango a go on the basis of Johnny Depp (being a fan of his) and found it worth my while. Depp's chameleon cowboy, Rango, is an affable cutie who, along with his other entertaining 'amigos', will take you on a fun adventure as they try to solve the mystery of the missing water supply in their desert town (aptly named 'Dirt'). For a movie aimed mostly at young ones, you'll be surprised to find that it is both smart and humourous. This DVD would be a very good buy in particular for those who have children to enjoy it with.
