im not a big sci-fi fan, but loved this series... well, you have to, dont you - i mean, does anyone go through life without knowing the true potential of a babel fish?

This book series is one of those books that every fan of science fiction should read and covet for always. I have the complete collection safely locked up to read over once every year. The adventures of the inapt Arthur, the intolerable Ford Prefect, gorgeous Trillian, the foolhardy Zaphod Beeblebrox and my favourite character, Marvin the pessimistic robot who always turns up at the most improbable moments, is well worth making a movie about. Just read it, you won't be sorry.
