The first movie in the Hobbit trilogy kicks off with Bilbo (from The lord of the rings) as a young hobbit invited to be part of an expedition to reclaim a treasure guarded by a fire breathing dragon. The story is told at a slow but detailed pace, and also includes portions related to the Lord of the rings trilogy not mentioned in the book, The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien. The movie was shot at an amazing 48 frames per second in 3D which brings new meaning to the detail visible on your television. The pack includes 2 blue ray disks contains the 3D version of the movie, a third blue ray containing the 2D version and a forth blue ray has the making of the film in a ten part video-blog format.
