Great film, great acting, great directing. The film keeps you intrigued all the way to the end and keeps you wondering what will happen to Caesar, and humanity. Excellent references made to the previous Planet of the Apes stories. Opens itself up for a great sequel too.

  Brilliant movie

The movie has me hooked, sitting on the edge of my seat and wishing I could fight the Decepticons right alone with the Transformers. Very rarely do you get a Trilogy that is good. After the first movie the following movies are bland and boring. Not so with Transformers. Each and every movie in the trilogy so far has proved to be exciting, an adrenalin rush and everything you would want out of an action movie.

  Best Transformers to date?
Reviewed by Marco from Johannesburg, South Africa on 28 February 2012

For the third instalment of Michael Bay's Transformers series I was sceptical, but rather pleased by the time the credits rolled. But is it the best of the three? That would be a disappointing “No”, while the movie will get your spine tingling from its opening sequence combining newly designed CGI with 1960's footage, the movie, towards the end is drawn out and various aspects of the movie seem over the top and flawed. The removal of Megan Foxx from the movie was met with some approval, but her replacement as the new love interest is seriously lacking in the acting department, he performances are unconvincing during the CGI sequences, her looks do little to make up for this. Sam Witwiki as a character is beginning to feel stretched, in the first two movies he sets out to be a hero turned loner who wants to live his own life, who now wants to return to the hero role by force in the third, and while playing a nerdish unconfident fellow, he always manages to get the hottest girl and have all the answers?? Sound too good to be true.....well it is and is felt all though out the film. The transforming sequences are brilliant and the new villain in Sentinel is sublime, a mile better than Revenge of the Fallen, but still falls short of the Original which set the bar pretty high, worth a watch for the hardcore fan and casual viewer. Rebel's Rating: 4 out 5 popcorns, with extra salt ;)
