Kaya Scodelario (SKINS) stars as Catherine, with James Howson as her Heathcliff; marking the first time a black actor has portrayed the role. Adopted into the wealthy Earnshaw family, Heathcliff forms a powerful romantic bond with his new stepsister Cathy. When he returns to the moors years later to find her married, his realisation that he can never be with his one true soul mate has tragic consequences.
