Very gripping story!! So cruel!! Definitely not for the faint hearted, shocked and saddened me so much i was unable to finish the book!!
Gripping from the start, very descriptive without being boring. The writer has the ability to draw you in, to make you feel the hurt and sadness. Very good!
This book shows that the human spirit, if strong enough, can concur even a mothers hatred and abuse. This girl went through hell, and yet she still came through it. Very good read.
What a book! Such cruelty is unamagainable! This book is a "must read" from the minute i started reading it, i could not stop! She was such a brave child. No person should be put through such cruelty!

Wonderful read! I cannot believe a Mother can be so cruel. A great survival story. It just goes to show you can change the way you where brought up. You don't have to continue the abuse.
The story is not for the fainthearted, and as a parent I could not beleive this happened. The book is well written and I could not put it down.
This book shocked me tremendously! So sad to read how a mother who are suppose to lover her children can be so cruel.
Very difficult to read, but very difficult to put down, How could these things happen, and nobody did anything..... I am a mother of 3 children, it just broke my heart.
