Very Slow 8Gb Flash Drive

The flash drive look and feel nice and robust, but it has an appalling write time. According to the specifications it is suppose to write at 8 to 14 Mb/s. However, I can only reached 7.2Mb/s with big files (>100mb). For smaller files it drops to 214kb/s. Since I’ve bought mine, they changed the controller on the drive, which slows it down even more. It took 20 minutes to load 50Mb of MP3's. I do know someone with a 4Gb and his was very fast. However, both my 8Gb are terrible. After exchanging one of the two, the replacement one are even worse in writing data onto it! I will not recommend this product!
