Reviewed by Dave from Cape Town South Africa on 01 January 2013
found it to be simple to use with sensible sized buttons
Very much like the web site presentation.
Would be have been nice to get GPS
co-ordinates displayed.
Also be able to erase data on watch

Gadget but also practical!
Reviewed by Angela from Sandton, South Africa on 04 December 2012
I'm in love with my new watch. I take it for day hikes on Sunday and runs during the week. The only 'difficult' thing at the start is finding the USB connection (End of 1 of the straps has to be clicked open) but Google helped me.

Get a Garmin

The watch itself is fine, but getting detail stats on your run is at the mercy of the nike+ website.
The website is one frustrating experience after the other - the age of some comments on the web shows nike has no urgency to fix these.
Dont be fooled by the good looks and advertising...like yours truly.

Easy to use running watch

Pros
Large numbers easy to read, GPS connects fast once you move your arm, with trees accurate to .05ks. Foot pod fiddly needs special Nike shoe or compartment not required for outdoors. Tapping to activate light easy and auto laps ie. time per k as per GPS nice. Use Firefox only, Google & Explored don't work, to connect to Nike + site which is OK but not easy to change to metric. USB in watch strap for connection and charging.
Cons
Battery life 8 hrs with GPS so unless you run Comrades faster you can't use it with GPS for big C also restricted to 50 laps. Have not tried stopwatch ie. no GPS to see how long the battery lasts but stopwatch data is not filed. Must connect to Nike + to get to detail settings for watch.
Sum
I like it.
