To protect against data loss or damage from accidental slips or falls, the StoreJet 25M2 meets the U.S.military drop-test standards MIL-STD-810F 516.5 procedure IV (transit drop test) with advanced three-stage anti-shock technology*. The three-stage shock protection system includes a anti-slip rubber case, a reinforced hard casing, and an internal hard drive suspension damper.

The StoreJet 25M2 not only makes external storage easier, but also more productive with its convenient One Touch Auto-Backup button and the bundled Transcend Elite software that offers intelligent backup scheduling, security, and file compression functions.     Got a voucher for Xmas and bought this external hard drive. Very impressed, small (2.5") and has a nice drop resistant, rubber casing. Would definitely recommend it, comes with a USB cable and worked perfectly with Windows 8 Pro out the box
