    brilliant game for its time.if you are looking for another old time strategy.this is the one.but if you are looking to buy a fresh and hot knew stile,soooooped up graphics and all knew ideas.go for something like stronghold 2 etc

    Stating that AOE2 is the greatest RTS ever, might get you in trouble with some Warcraft and Starcraft fans, but you might not be wrong. Apart from one other game (C&C generals) this is the game I call upon when new games get boring, and lets face it they do. Classic game. Definately in the top 10 greatest games of all time. Please note that this game has some serious compatibility issues with windows 7.
