Dreamworks’ playful animated film is given the video game treatment in this adventure title that places players into the boots of mastermind Gru.
Based on the animated film of the same name, Despicable Me lets players take control of devilish mastermind Gru as he plans to become the world’s number one supervillian. As players help Gru bring his plan to fruition, they will plot and steal their way to the top, taking command of an army of minions to help do their evil bidding. Utilizing a number of weird and wonderful gadgets, players will work through levels that blend traditional action with puzzle-solving segments.
As players complete each of their despicable actions, they will slowly amass pieces of a valuable Moon rocket needed for Gru’s plans. Players can also take control of Gru’s trusty aircraft to fight against his supervillian rival, Vector. Multiplayer offers a number of different air combat modes, including dogfights, fortress defending and minion collection.
Despicable Me lets players experience the dastardly deeds of Gru and his nemesis Vector first-hand, offering colourful action stages that blend teasing puzzles into gameplay.
