    Oh man, I can't even recall how many times we've watched this - the whole family. And it remains great. Depp rules in this role!

    A tale of adventure set during the 17th Century in the Caribbean Sea. For the charming Captain Jack Sparrow, the waters of the Caribbean, like the high seas the world over, present a playground where adventure and mystery abound. Johnny Depp is simply stunning in his portrayal of Jack Sparrow. Jack's idyllic life capsizes after his nemesis, Captain Barbossa, steals his ship, the Black Pearl, and later attacks the town of Port Royal, kidnapping the Governor's beautiful daughter, Elizabeth Swann. Elizabeth's friend, Will Turner, joins forces with Jack to commandeer the fastest ship in the British fleet, the HMS Interceptor, in an attempt to rescue her and recapture the Black Pearl. I cant tell you guys how many times i've watched this movie! Too brilliant,funny and clever!

    This movie may seem familiar with its theme of pirates in the high sea. It is. What make it stands out are the good cast and the good humor/writing that makes it entertaining. Special mention goes to Johnny Depp, whose character is the star of the party- he is really funny and lovable. Good script, production and special effects means this movie will please kids and adults alike. Excellent movie to take a timeout from this busy world and just relax and be entertained.
