An excellent RTS game with an amazing story, if you have Wings of Liberty, you NEED to get this.

Starcraft 2 - Heart Of The Swarm

The campaign for Heart Of The Swarm has much more depth and better voice acting than that of Wings of Liberty, and makes for a great experience while playing. The new addition of being able to mutate and evolve existing in-game units, makes for much replay value with different evolution choices.

SC2 HotS...Blizzard you beauty...

Once again, Blizzard has produced a masterpiece! :D
For fans of the StarCraft franchise, this is an absolute must. Once again, the storyline is just perfect, keeping you in front of your PC for hours, just trying to see what happens next, one simply cannot stop playing.
Blizzard have also added a matchmaking mode, which does not only match you up against other players of your skill in multiplayer (which did exist in SC2 Wings of Liberty), BUT, it also takes you through proper basic multiplayer games (vs AI or other players), to teach you how to play competitively (getting one out of the campaign mode habits). For those who can never get a win or two when joining multiplayer games, but enjoy multiplayer, this is perfect, as it eases you into the setup and basics, and you can progress at your own speed, and take on others when YOU are ready.
This game is a must for anyone that's into RTS, and fans of SC2 will not be disappointed. SC2 HotS is worth every cent/rand spent!

The single player campaign was a brilliant continuation of the story line and every bit as rich as the Wings of Liberty.
The changes brought to the multiplayer infrastructure is also welcome, and the new units are sure to appeal to avid multiplayer fans.
The only real downside to this game, was the large patch required on release day - 5GB - but the excellent price from South Africa retailers easily made up for that!

A very enlightening view into the history of StarCraft. Well put together, gives hope that not all is lost with Blizzard, direction shown throughout the story. Multiplayer is as good as always, setting the bar for competitive RTS games.

This is an expansion only. So if you don’t have Starcraft WoL, like me, this would be of no use and you will have to buy Starcraft WoL first. Wish I knew this beforehand then I would have bought the bundle and save some bucks.
