The band’s first two releases, Die Heuwels Fantasties and Wilder as die Wildtuin, both shot to gold in no time.
For the writing and recording process, DHF, rented a house in Houtbay for three months. The lyrical master, Hunter Kennedy and frontman Pierre Greeff, penned down the lyrics, whilst the music was written in conjunction with Fred den Hertog. Fred was also responsible for all of the programming during the production phase.
Violins, an accordion, a saxophone and some piano was later recorded in Stellenbosch with a few of their friends.
The first single off Alles Wat Mal Is have already set sail through our airwaves, taking DHF fans to Die Beloofde Land.
