Digital Image Stabilisation takes data from a built-in angular velocity sensor,and is an in-camera image process which turns blurred images into sharp results. This system is less effective than optical image stabilization.

Face Detection detects up to 35 faces in a shot and adjusts focus, exposure, flash settings and white balance – for optimal results with natural-looking skin tones. FaceSelf-Timer allows you to take group photos, with you in it, easily by taking the shot when your face enters the frame.

i-Contrast solves difficult lighting situations where you have extremely bright and dark areas appearing in the same image by brightening up dark areas while keeping the bright parts as they are.

A special red eye fix algorithm on the camera automatically eliminates red eye from occurring in your pictures. You can remove red eye during image reviewing, or for more convenience, set the camera to automatically detect and eliminate red eye from your shots as they are taken.

The MPEG movie mode allows you to capture movies with sound at a good quality 30 frames per second at HD quality (720p) resolution. The zoom can also be used while capturing video.
