Kongos will be back in SA over the next few months performing at Rocking the Daisies and another huge appearance which will be announced in a few weeks time.
Lunatic is the second album from KONGOS, a band of four brothers, sons of South African singer-songwriter John Kongos. Before the first single I’m Only Joking hitthe airwaves, the band was virtually unknown in South Africa, but very quickly the song went on to top the rock charts for multiple weeks, becoming the most requested track across many national, regional and campus stations. One year later, with follow-up hit singles, Come With Me Now, Escape, Hey I Don’t Know, Sex On The Radio and multiple trips to SA for sold out shows and festivals, the album is still going strong.
This Deluxe edition includes a disc of seven remixes by the electronic music collective Zero One World. Given the wide variety of influences and styles on Lunatic, Z.O.W. has cleverly found a unique alternate treatment for each remix, taking the songs in a dramatically different direction, providing for an exciting and adventurous mix of EDM styles.
