Long description
Nintendo continues its focus on the new world of casual gaming with Wii Music, a rhythm title that allows players of any skill to enjoy playing music.
With titles such as Guitar Hero and Rock Band making the music rhythm game popular again, Nintendo’s Wii Music is aimed at those who want to enjoy playing music without learning complex rhythm patterns and control schemes. Wii Music doesn’t use an add-on peripheral, so each instrument is played using the Wii Remote and nunchuk attachment (plus the optional Wii Balance Board). The Wii’s controllers mimic drum sticks, flutes, guitars, pianos and many more in simple, innovative ways. Players simply need to imitate the way these instruments are played to create sounds - there’s no need to learn any button schemes whatsoever. There are no wrong notes in Wii Music, just the enjoyment of playing.
This enjoyment can be shared with up to three other players, each improving with their own instruments, speeding up and slowing down songs as they choose. Classical songs from around the globe are on offer, as well as a number of well-known Nintendo songs from days gone by, such as the Super Mario Bros. theme song.
By removing the challenge from music rhythm games, Wii Music allows anyone to experience creating music with friends.
