I am very happy with the product. I have made, and enjoyed my 1st batch of biltong and droe wors. It is also a nice feature in my braairoom. Very happy, great value for money!

I had a cardboard "Sonbesie" biltong maker for many years, in which I made "tons" of good biltong, but this eventually got moldy because the fat soaked into the cardboard.
I got the Biltong King for a birthday, and have just successfully made a 4 kg batch. I found the recipe on the Biltong King website had much too much salt. I used to use much less and leave it marinating overnight.
I find the forced air flow of the Biltong King dries the meat faster than the convection drying I used before. However, I suspect the moist hot summers in Durban would spoil the meat, and will restrict me to winter biltong making.
