3x Optical Zoom and 14 Megapixels

The Fujinon 3x zoom lens offers great detail thanks to the great expertise gained over many years of Fujinon lens manufacture. As well as this, the JV300 features a 14 Megapixel CCD sensor for ultra-sharp image quality.

Improvements to Screen and Startup

Over its predecessor the Finepix L55, this model now boasts a 2.7” LCD monitor with 150% improved brightness over and quicker times for both camera power-up and Autofocus.

Scene Recognition

This high-tech mode automatically chooses the most appropriate mode from six preset scene types so you don’t have to worry. The available modes are Portrait, Macro, Landscape, Night Portrait, Night and Backlit Portrait.

Face Detection

The Face Detection mode on the JV 300 automatically detects up to 10 faces in any frame and sets the best focus and exposure with auto red-eye correction for flash lit images.

Shoot in Low Light

In dim conditions, the JV300 is designed to cope well and still produce great photos. It is extra sensitive with an ISO range of 100-3200 and has Digital Image Stabilisation which will automatically increase shutter speed as light levels drop. In addition i-Flash technology naturally mixes flash with ambient light, and there is a maximum flash distance of 3 metres.

HD Movies

Includes 720p HD video recording with a dedicated record button for easy operation. In-Camera Video Editing will also allow you to prepare your clips for presentation.
