The LeapPad Green is a 5-inch tablet made for children to interact with. It can withstand all the knocks and bumps that come with an active childhood. LeapFrog designed the LeapPad to be played with and equipped it with a touch-screen and tilt sensor.

The built in camera and 2GB of storage encourage the young artiste to explore their creative side. Voice instructions walk them through taking, editing and sharing their creations with friends and family.

LeapPad Green has immersive, interactive books. Each one is designed for three different reading levels so it will stay relevant as your child develops. There are different ways of enjoying them: listening, reading along or just reading. Children can even record and play back their own narration.

Track their growth with the Learning Path. This online tool will update you on where your child is excelling and where they may need more support.

    I have not bought a LeapPad yet, but am considering buying one for my son. I went into Toy Zone in Umhlanga, KZN and they had quite an array of games to buy, at about R200 - R250 each. Obviously not the whole range, but there were quite a few. Just thought I would let everyone know.

    Upon purchasing the Leappad, I was under the impression that it comes with 4 apps. Only 1 app is loaded onto the console and the other 3 need to be downloaded off the internet. I have not been able to download the additional apps and neither has my neighbour. I have however managed to purchase an additional game from a local toyshop. My son loves his Leappad and it is educational and fun! He plays with it often and the camera and video camera are a great hit! I do feel a little cheated out of the games however I still feel that it was a good buy! I feel that Kalahari should be obliged to carry more game stock due to this problem. At the time of writing this I am unable to get any other titles for the Leappad on Kalahari!

    Purchased this for my 2 year old son and he absolutely loves it. Nice and small and easy for him to navigate. Downloaded the apps and videos and he watches it continuously.
