Always enjoyed Rodriguez music, however, his album Cold Fact is still my best.

Some dissappointing songs in the middle of this album. Rather buy Cold Fact and, you don't get all the political bull on the album cover either!

Hi, Be careful that this is only the CD. The DvD sells for less than this product on this same website. I searched for the DvD and ordered the CD in error thinking it was bringing up all the DvD's. You can buy the CD for much less.

I purchased this CD for my son who was fortunate to watch Rodriguez, live, in Cape Town recently.
My son was thrilled with the gift and listens to the CD whenever he has a break in his busy day. He says Rodriguez is a master in his field!

Sugarman found..

Having been to see the amazing documentary, Searching for Sugarman (a must see), I wanted to have time to listen again to Rodrigues' music. I had picked up the comment that he sang in the time of the likes of Bob Dylan, 'but is better'. My dylanesque hackles rose, and I had to buy this to compare. Very pleased that I did! Some of the Sugarman music is of noticeably similar style to Dylan. I have yet to work out if either is better. (But of course Dylan came first.....)

Nothing to do with politics, nothing to do with apartheid but everything to do with good music and a supposedly "failed" musician who was a hero to millions and spoke for a generation.
Brilliant documentary and brilliant music: thank you, Mr Rodriguez.
