Patricia Majalisa shot to fame in the early 90's when she released her solo album Witch Doctor. She had been a member of the successful all-girl group Dalom Kids. Witch Doctor went on to sell over 100 000 units rivaling her stablemate and pioneers of township pop, Splash.
Teaming up with her producer Dan Tshanda, Patricia Majalisa delivers her 2006 album after more than two years of performing and touring in South Africa, Botswana and Namibia. The album is a mixture of up-tempo danceable songs and beautifully sung ballads. Like Splash it features a number of synthesizers, electric drum rolls and harmonic blend of both male and female backing vocals.
